tina's Notes:

Need a quick and delicious dessert. This peach cobbler will do the trick every time, but don't forget the vanilla ice cream.

Directions

1
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter in 9x13 inch baking dish while oven is pre-heating. Mix together all dry ingredients plus milk. Take baking dish out of oven with melted butter. Pour batter mixture over butter, then pour peaches over batter. Place back in oven and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until top is browned. Let cool slightly, then serve with vanilla ice cream. Enjoy!

I have never doubled the recipe, but I don't know why it would not work. Let me know how it turns out!

Tina,

You have won my heart for being from Arkansas. My husband and I grew up in Harrison and we still have family there. Go Hogs!! Will definitely try.

@ Mary...Arkansas born and raised! I love Harrison, it is so beautiful there. We went through there a few weeks ago on our way to Branson. I live in the Jonesboro area, been here my whole life. The Hogs had a great first game this past Saturday..they won big time. Not sure who they played though. ha. Sadly I am not a football fan.

Oh, Tina - not a Razorback Fan -- we MUST change that and SOON. I also lived in Wynne for a couple of years during high school. My brother went to a small school, Valley Springs and played basketball MANY years ago and we visited Jonesboro alot for tournaments. Such a small world. Nice to know you. One day I'll post a pic. And don't forget to call the Hogs EACH Saturday. :) I hope someone in your family can somehow CHANGE this non-football fan to at least an Arkansas Football Fan - (seasonal). North Mexico State was who they played. My husband's company put in the turf field in Fayetteville. Unfortunately, they were outbid for the Little Rock field. :(

Wynn is a pretty little town also. Although it is not so little any more. I don't know about the football, maybe I will catch the fever. I have plenty of folks around me with it. We have our college team here, The Red Wolves, formally know as the Indians. When we have a home game it is packed at the college and along side any road leading up to it. We are going to attend one or maybe more of those games. I have two daughters, so football has not been something we have gotten into. We will see. So nice to chat with you on here. Small world indeed. :)

Yes, sorry, I use a couple of different baking dishes when I make it. A 9x13 is one of them. :)
