Drumstick (Nutty Buddy) Dessert

Family favorite, best if frozen then pull out 20-30 min. before serving, makes it easier to cut. As you can see I didn't chop peanuts for topping (have a picky neice, she picks off nuts) and used choc. syrup but this is an easy recipe and you can used vanilla pudding instead and top w/ caramel sauce.

2 c
crushed sugar cones (about 2 boxes)
1/2 c
butter, melted
1 c
finely chopped peanuts, divided
8 oz
cream cheese, room temperature
1/3 c
peanut butter
1/3 c
powered sugar
16 oz
cool whip, divided
2 pkg
instant chocolate pudding
2 3/4 c
milk or half and half
hershey's magic shell topping


Step 1 Direction Photo

1Mix sugar cones, butter, and 2/3 c. peanuts together and pat into 9x13 pan. Bake @ 350 for 10 min. cool.

2Beat cream cheese, peanut butter and powered sugar in bowl until smooth. Fold in 2 c. Cool Whip. Spread on cooled crust. refrigerate while preparing next step.

3Mix pudding and half and half. Spread over cream cheese mixture, and refrigerate for about 3-5 min. till pudding is set.

Step 4 Direction Photo

4Top w/remaining coolwhip,drizzle magic shell and sprinkle with remaining peanuts. Freeze or refrigerate.
