A wonderful recipe for kahlua-flavored icing that you can use on may baked goods from cookies to muffins, cupcakes, candies, brownies, etc., from recipegirl! Start with the amount of powdered sugar in the recipe, then you can whisk in more, a little at a time, for the consistency you need for what you're using it for. "As is" for pouring over brownies (as in pic to left) or drizzling, or more sugar for piping and frosting. Easy to make, and sooooo good!! :D

Place butter into saucepan, and heat until lightly browned. Remove from heat and add Kahlua and heavy cream. Whisk in powdered sugar until you have the consistency that you desire (you should be looking for a thick, smooth icing that is still pourable for brownies or dipping the tops of muffins or cupcakes in (without paper liners.) If pouring over brownies or a cake, spread to edges with an offset knife to cover. Refrigerate til set. More powdered sugar can be whisked in, a little at a time, for slightly thicker frosting to frost with or fill a pastry bag with for piping.
