DirectionsStir all dry ingredients in a bowl. Than add cold unsalted butter & mix until mixture appears like grains. Use a fork or hands..set aside.Beat wet ingredients: heavy cream,eggs, orange,lemon grated rinds & vanilla until combined. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredient. Mix gently, dough will be sticky..just add a little flour to board when combing it together. Form dough into a circle & cut into pie shape slices. Melted butter ,eggwash or sugar can be added to top of sliced scones before they go into the oven. I used butter & Later put a glaze on them.Place scones on cookie sheet with parchment paper. Preheated oven, Bake @ 400 degrees for 15-18 min or a golden colorGlaze: 1/12 cups powder sugar
1 tblsp orange juice & 1 tsp lemon juice
1 tablespoon heavy cream. Stir until smooth & apply on warm scones.
