chopped maraschino cherries
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter, sugar and vanilla.
Add eggs and blend well.
Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt, and gradually blend into egg mixture.
Spread into prepared pan and bake 20-25 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool.
To make buttercream frosting, in a small mixing bowl, cream butter, cocoa, Karo, and vanilla.
Add confectioners' sugar and milk; beat to spreading consistency. Frost the brownies.
