Bettys Browned Butter Frosting

- butter- not oleo or margarine!
- 4 c
- sifted powder sugar
- 2 Tbsp
- 1 tsp
1In a small saucepan, heat butter over low heat until melted, continue to heat until butter turns a delicate brown.
2Remove from heat, pour into mixing bowl adding the powdered sugar, milk and vanilla.
3Beat with electric mixer on low until combined, then on med-high adding additional milk if needed to reach spreading consistancy.
This frosting has a great nutty taste, that goes with everything!
