Angel Food Lemon Bars

Mom (Bea) brought these to the 2009 picnic. Since then we have tried them with other pie filling. Great with lemon but nice with either cherry or blueberry too. Even fun to try in different sized pans.

angel food cake mix (one step)

lemon pie filling

Directions Step-By-Step

Blend together by hand. Place in a greased jelly roll pan and bake for 20 min. at 350. You can use a cake pan to make a thicker bar. Cover bars with frosting made of 3 oz. cream cheese, 3/4 stick margaring & 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar.
