This is a very simple recipe and for fresh berries. You may do this with any berry. Yes, you may also use frozen berries, but they don't have same benefits 2 me) Use it as syrup for pancakes or mix with sour cream and make a delicious creamy and fruity sauce for macaroni. This is also an excellent cough syrup and you may warm it up gently. Raspberries, and berries in general, are a great source of vitamins, minerals and enzymes. They also have antibacterial properties. Not 4 people allergic to berries. Obviously :) Once you try this, you will never use store bought syrup again

My grandma used to make me a cold berry soup in the summer, or mix the berries with the syrup with sour cream and put it on pasta. It may seem weird but don't knock it till you try it. Children especially love this dish. You may warm it up gently on a table spoon and give it to a child with a cold, it will warm up and soothe their throat. Do not make it hot just slightly warm it up. As I said it also has nutritional and "nourishing" properties. Great for kids who hate over the counter cough syrups :)
