We wanted a recipe for a "homemade" ice cream that didn't require an ice cream maker. Just some Summer family fun to make and freeze...then eat. We made this often in Summer's when my daughter was home. She's now 35 years old. This is a special Summer memory and we still make it to recall good times.

Ingredients For strawberry ice cream

  • 20 oz
    strawberry soda
  • 10 oz
    frozen strawberries, thawed
  • 3
    eggs, beaten
  • 1//2 c
    sugar
  • 1 1/2 c
    sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 1/2 c
    light cream
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract

How To Make strawberry ice cream

    Stir all ingredients together and mix well.
