This is a great dessert to serve to company because it's delicious and looks impressive. The best part is how simple it is to make! The "crust" and 3rd layer is so yummy I can't stop nibbling on it! You can use raspberries or strawberries for this dessert...

cube of melted butter
1 c

brown sugar
2 c

rice krispies
1 c

coconut
1 c

nuts ( walnuts, pecans, sliced almonds, macadamias, whatever you have)
1 box

danish dessert (can be found in the store by the jello. it's in a pink box)

How To Make simple berry ice cream dessert

Mix first 5 ingredients together and press 1/2 of mixture into bottom of 9x13 pan.

Slice box of ice cream and place on top of mixture. Put the remaining mixture on top of ice cream. Cover with saran wrap and place in freezer for a couple of hrs.

30 mins. before serving, cook 1 pkg of either strawberry or raspberry Danish Dessert according to "sauce" directions. Add fresh or frozen berries to sauce and let cool.

Slice ice cream dessert and pour some sauce over each serving.
