Ingredients For homemade choco taco's

  • 4
    hard taco shells (old el paso stand 'n stuff work the best)
  • cooking spray
  • 4 Tbsp
    cinnamon sugar
  • vanilla ice cream, softened
  • 12 oz
    semi-sweet baking chocolate
  • 1 stick
    butter
  • 3 Tbsp
    corn syrup, light
  • peanuts, chopped

How To Make homemade choco taco's

  • 1
    Spray inside of taco shells with cooking spray. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar inside & shake to cover inside of shells. Freeze 30 minutes. Meanwhile, let ice cream soften.

    Gently scoop ice cream into shells & smooth to the edge of the shell with butter knife. Freeze 4 hours.

    Melt chocolate in microwave; then stir in butter & corn syrup. Dip frozen top of tacos in chocolate mixture & sprinkle with peanuts. Freeze 30 minutes.
