gaynel's Notes:

Taste of Home has some fabulous recipes. This is from their "Light & Tasty" magazine. This would be great to "treat" on , on a hot summer evening while sitting on the front porch.

Directions

1
Microwave each bag of fruit seperately in a microwave safe dish, at 50% power for 1 minute
2
In a blender or food processor, place 1/2 of the ingredients ( 1 bag fruit, 1 cont. yogurt, 1/2 of bananas and 1 tbs. sugar ) and process until smooth. Mixture will be thick.
Repeat with second half of ingredients.
3
Serve immediately, or freeze for up to 4 hours.

I make something very similar to this. I dont use yogurt... just the frozen fruit and a little milk or half and half. Usually don't add the sugar either, as the fruit is sweet on it's own. It's soooo good and you feel like you're having ice cream when you're really eating healthy!
