A few weeks ago I ran across my old recipe box. Thrilled to find it I went through it as though I was opening a treasure box. I found this recipe (dated 1981) the year my sweetheart and I were married. I love Ice Cream and any thing that is easy. Add ingredents that you love and make it your special treat too! ENJOY!!

1
vanilla bean
1 tsp

Step-By-Step

1Add 3 egg yolks to bowl.

3With tip of knife split the vanilla bean down center from top to bottom, spread open. Using tip of knife scrape the vanilla bean to remove the beans from pod. Add vanilla beans to egg yolks and sweetened condense milk.

5Add cold whipping cream to cold bowl. Whip until peaks form.
6Fold whipped cream into the vanilla bean mix, (gently to keep air in cream).
7Pour Ice Cream mix into a loaf pan (one you would use to bake bread in). Cover with foil and freeze until firm.
