sweet cucumber dessert

I recently Made a trip to Morocco to visit my husbands family. His mother made this and many other dishes after trying it I fell in Love with the flavor. My husband admitted to me its one of his favorite desserts from his childhood, with that information I had to make it for him so now we eat it often :)!!

Ingredients For sweet cucumber dessert

  • 2
    cucumbers
  • 4
    leaves of romaine lettuce (any long lettuce will do)
  • 1
    carrot
  • 3
    oranges
  • 2 tsp
    sugar
  • 1/4 c
    water

How To Make sweet cucumber dessert

  • 1
    peel cucumber and carrots, slice lettuce into small pieces, and juice oranges.. set the juice aside and combine with your sugar.

    next slice cucumber into very thin circles add to your juice mixture, set aside.

    use a grater to grate carrot into fine shreds, then combine it and your lettuce with your juice mixture, add water and Chill.

    serve cold with a spoon. Also makes a good snack. My favorite way is only oranges lettuce and cucumbers mmmmmmm but thats just me ... Enjoy
