mix sugar, vinegar, and water in 5 quart pan. tie allspice and cloves in cheesecloth. put this and cinnamon into mixture. Cover and boil 5 minutes. drop peaches into boiling syrup a fewat a time. simmer until tender, about 5 min. pack in sterile jars. cover with syrup and seal
