Mom made this for us when we were kids during strawberry season, I have added the blueberries for a great 4th of July dessert.

Ingredients

ready made angel food cake
2
3 oz. pkgs. strawberry jello
1 pt
fresh blueberries
2 lb
fresh strawberries
1
12 oz. bowl of whipped cream

Step-By-Step

1Make strawberry jello according to directions on packages in very large bowl. I used a 5 quart bowl. Let set.
2Meanwhile, clean blueberries. Set aside. Take tops off strawberries. Cut strawberries into 4ths., larger ones into 8ths. Gently mix berries together. Set covered in refrigerator.
3Tear Angel Food Cake into bite sized pieces. Set aside.
4When jello has set, add berries, Angel Food Cake and whipped cream into bowl. Stir all gently. Let set for 1 hour or overnight.
Serves 10 to 12.
