This recipe is my childrens great aunt Ruby's and believe me it will bring down the house. I always made it for a very special occasion like Christmas. Absence makes the heart grow fonder. Everybody will say,"you gonna make that Pineapple Stuff this year".It's easy but makes you look real good.

Ingredients For pineapple "secret weapon"

1 1/2 box

vanilla wafer crumbs
1/2 lb

butter
3 can

crushed pineapple- drained well
1 lg

container of cool whip

eggs
1 c

crushed pecans
1 box

confectionary sugar

How To Make pineapple "secret weapon"

Crush vanilla wafers and place 3/4 of crumbs in bottom of large rectangular baking pan.

Cream together butter, sugar. Add 4 beaten eggs. Cream all together. Cook over med-low heat till thickened and bubbly. Pour over Vanilla Wafers.

Spread drained crushed pineapples over this mixture.

Spread evenly 3/4 nuts over pineapples.

Spread Cool Whip on top of nuts.

Top with remaining Vanilla Wafers and nuts.

Best if refrigerated for 24 hours.
