Ingredients For pineapple crumble

  • 16 oz
    can unsweetened pineapple, crushed and drained
  • 1/2 c
    light brown sugar
  • 1/3 c
    ground walnuts
  • 2/3 c
    matzo meal
  • 3 Tbsp
    soy or safflower margarine
  • TOPPING INGREDIENTS
  • 1/4 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 2
    medium pears, peeled, cored, diced
  • 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon

How To Make pineapple crumble

    Preheat oven to 350.

    Combine filling ingredients in a mixing bowl and pat into a 9-inch square baking pan.

    Melt margarine in a skillet and remove from heat.

    Stir in the remaining topping ingredients until evenly coated with the margarine.

    Sprinkle evenly over the top of the pineapple mixture.
