fresh pears, peeled, cored and sliced
finely chopped nuts
Place pear slices in the bottom of a lightly greased 8 inch square pan.
Combine 2 tablespoons flour and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon. Sprinkle over pears.
Combine flour, 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, sugar and salt. Cut in butter and add nuts. Mixture will be crumbly.
Bake uncovered at 350 for 30-35 minutes until pears are tender.
Serve slightly warm with ice cream or chilled. Refrigerate leftovers.
