A lite and fluffy orange dessert that has been enjoyed for many years. My ex mother in law gave me this recipe in the 1970's.

Ingredients

1 can(s)
crushed pineapple in own juices
1/4 c
sugar
1 box
large box of orange jello
1 lb
small curd cottage cheese
2 can(s)
drained mandarin oranges
3 c
mini marshmellows
1
medium tub of cool whip

Step-By-Step

1Bring pineapple with juice and sugar to a boil.
2Remove from heat and add jello, stir until desovled, then add cool whip and cottage cheese and 1 can of mandarin oranges (drained).
3chill for 30 minutes in frig, remove and add marshmellows. Stir in and add remaining can of drained oranges on top in a clever pattern.
