Old Fashion Blueberry Squares
Feel free to switch out the blueberry pie filling for cherry, apple, lemon, mincemeat or any other canned pie filling you enjoy, although I don't think pumpkin will work in this recipe at all.
- 2 stick
- butter, softened (1/2 lb)
- 2 c
- 1 tsp
- pure vanilla extract
- 3 c
- all purpose flour
- 1 can(s)
- blueberry pie filling or pie filling of choice
Mix butter and sugar with mixer until incorporated, add all 4 eggs, 1 at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add vanilla and mix. Add flour in small batches until all the flour is combined.
Extra delicious and well worth the work
(once its done and you have a slice in your hand...ha-ha-ha)
