Julia's notes for this recipe:
I have made this apple crisp many times. Sometimes I switch out the vanilla wafers for ginger snaps or graham crackers. This recipe is supposed to make 12 - 1/2 cup servings. Who are they kidding, who is gonna eat just 1/2 cup? Not me, I want about 3 of those 1/2 cup servings.

Judy, I have to try this with Vanilla Wafers. I've got this bag of apples and I'm looking for apple recipes on the net. Thanks for sharing.
