My mom made this all the time. She even had a mild stroke one day with this in the oven.Thank goodness my brother was there. You can substitue any fruit you want. It always comes out good.

Ingredients

1 1/2 c
sugar
1 c
all purpose flour
1 can(s)
cherries drained (save juice)
1 tsp
baking soda
1 large
egg
1 Tbsp
corn starch

Step-By-Step

1Mix together 1 cup sugar, flour, baking soda, cherries, and egg. place in 9x13 pan and bake for 30 minutes.
2While pudding is baking mix fruit juice (fill with water to make a cup of juice),1/2 cup of sugar, and 1 tlbs, cook together then pour over pudding when done.
