Blue Ribbon Recipe by

I love Mardi Gras recipes and party ideas and I have enjoyed the King Cake though I have never tried to make one. Since I don't have a lot of patience for making breads, I decided to make my own version of Mardi Gras dessert. This cobbler has most of the same ingredients and flavors except it is much easier than waiting for dough to rise and all that fuss. This is my lazy way to Mardi Gras fun. I will be making this in the next day or so and will post pictures then.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

This is a quick and easy dessert for any Mardi Gras party. I loved the strawberries in this recipe. But, you could easily trade them out for your favorite fruit and it would still be delicious!
