Ingredients For lemon souffle

  • 1 lb
    sponge cake
  • 1 box
    lemon or lime jello
  • 6
    egg yolk
  • 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 2
    limes or lemon juice
  • 2
    lime or lemon zest, grated
  • 3/4 c
    water boiling
  • 6
    egg whites
  • 3/4 c
    sug

How To Make lemon souffle

  • 1
    Line bottom of springform pan with sponge cake Mix jello with water, cool til beginning to jell Beat yolks til thick, add juice and 1/2 of sugar.

    Cook stirring til thick as custard, cool

    Beat egg whites stiff with remaining sugar
  • 4
    Combine Jello and yolks and beat til blended and fluffy Fold in whites Pour into sponge cake lined pan
  • 5
    Chill and unmold
