Ingredients

1 lb
sponge cake
1 box
lemon or lime jello
6
egg yolk
3/4 c
sugar
2
limes or lemon juice
2
lime or lemon zest, grated
3/4 c
water boiling
6
egg whites
3/4 c
sug

Step-By-Step

1Line bottom of springform pan with sponge cake
Mix jello with water, cool til beginning to jell
Beat yolks til thick, add juice and
1/2 of sugar.

2Cook stirring til thick as custard, cool

3Beat egg whites stiff with remaining sugar

4Combine Jello and yolks and beat til blended and fluffy
Fold in whites Pour into sponge cake lined pan

5Chill and unmold
