Mix cake mix, butter and coconut in a bowl and mix well. Press mixture into a greased 9 x 13 inch baking pan, pressing slightly up the sides. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes. Arrange apple slices over the baked layer and sprinkle with the sugar and cinnamon. Blend the sour cream and egg in a small bowl. Drizzle over the apples. Bake for 25 minutes longer. Do not overbake. Makes 12 to 15 servings.
