Ingredients For fruity oatmeal bars

1 call purpose flour

1 cquick-cooking oats
-
2/3 cpacked light brown sugar

1/4 tspbaking soda

1/2 cbutter
-
1 cchunky applesauce, i used unsweetened

2/3 cdried cranberries
-
1/2 tspcinnamon
-
dashground cloves
How To Make fruity oatmeal bars

1Heat oven to 350. Spray a 9" x 9" x 2" baking pan w/ cooking spray. In bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar and baking soda.

2Cut in butter until mix resembles coarse crumbs. set aside 1/2 cup of mix. Press remaining mix into bottom of pan. In another bowl, mix together applesauce, cranberries, cinnamon and cloves.

3Spread applesauce mix over crumbs in pan. Sprinkle reserved crumbs over applesauce mix. Bake 30 mins, or until top is golden. Cool. Cut into bars.
