Fruit Tortillas

Got this recipe out of a local Junior League Cookbook about 20 years ago. It really is delicious and always a hit.

Ingredients

1 can pie filling ( any kind)
flour tortillas
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 sticks butter
1 1/2 cups water
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions Step-By-Step

Place 1 Tbsp. filling into tortilla and roll up.

Place in casserole dish, seam side down.

Continue filling tortillas until filling is gone.

Melt butter and add to sugar and water.

Heat until sugar dissolves. Add cinnamon and vanilla. Do not boil.

Pour over tortillas. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.

It is delicious served with vanilla ice cream.
