  • 1 stick
(1/2 cup) unsalted butter, softened to room temperature

    lemon pie filling

How To Make easy lemon crumble bars

  • 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 9X13 inch baking dish with non stick cooking spray.
  • 2
In a medium bowl, mix softened butter with dry cake mix. Mix until crumbly. Take 1/2 of crumbly mixture and set aside.
  • 3
Press the other half of crumbly mixture into baking pan by spreading it out and pressing firmly to form a thin crust.
  • 4
Spoon lemon pie filling onto crust. Spread it out as evenly as you can.
  • 5
Take the 1/2 of crumbly mixture that you set aside and sprinkle well over lemon pie filling.
  • 6
Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes or until crumble on top is just starting to turn a very light golden brown. cook's note: this slices up nicely and is good warm or cold from refrigerator. This is best stored in frig as crust tends to soften if left at room temp for more that 1 day.
