1Preheat oven to 350F..line an 8 inch pan with parchment paper, set aside.
2In saucepan set over medium heat combine the berries, white sugar, lemon zest and juice and cook berries until tender, about 10 minutes. whisk together the water and cornstarch and add to pan stirring until thickened about 1 to 2 minutes. Transfer to bowl, cover the surface with plastic wrap and cool for 1 hour.
3In another bowl combine the flour, cinnamon, brown sugar and butter and using pastry cutter cut in until crumbly.Press 2/3 of mix into pan..add the berries then the remaining flour mixture..Bake about 45 minutes or until golden..cool in pan before cutting.
