Ingredients For berry cobbler

  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    water
  • 4 c
    berries or cherries, fresh or frozen
  • 2 c
    unsifted flour
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 4 Tbsp
    margerine, melted in 9x13 pan

How To Make berry cobbler

  • 1
    Mix together, in a medium size saucepan 1 Cup sugar, 1 Cup sugar, 1 Cup water and 4 Cups berries or cherries. Bring this to a boil.

    Meanwhile, combine in mixing bowl the flour, the remaining 2 cups sugar, baking powder, salt and sugar. Stir to mix well. set aside.

    Melt 4 Tb margerine in 9x13 pan in 350 degree oven. Pour batter over the melted margerine. Carefully pour hot berry mixture over batter. Bake for about 50 min.
