Bacon Wrapped Peach Slices
- 16 slice
- bacon or pancetta
- 2 medium
- freestone peaches, halved, pitted -cut each into 8 wedges
- salt and pepper
- basil leaves
- 1 tsp
- olive oil
- maple syrup, for drizzle
- aged balsamic vinegar, for drizzle
Heat oil in skillet -add 1/2 the wrapped peach slices and cook over medium heat, turning occasionally, until bacon is crisp, about 4 minutes.Continue with remaining peach slices.
Lightly drizzle with aged balsamic vinegar and Maple syrup. Serve hot or cold,
Any peach may be used canned or fresh and if you like secure each with tooth picks.
