My aunt gave this recipe to me when she was on weight watchers, which is where the recipe comes from. It was supposed to be part of a breakfast plan, but to me it tastes more like dessert. It's THAT yummy! I don't know the calories or anything, because she just gave me the recipe. But I do know it's for 1 serving and that you can double, or triple the amounts.

Ingredients For apple crunch

  • 2 Tbsp
    + 2 tsp dry milk
  • 1/4 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 4 tsp
    splenda
  • 1/4 c
    grapenuts cereal
  • 2 tsp
    " i can't believe it's not butter." or margarine
  • 1 md
    apple, peeled, cored and sliced thin
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 1/2 tsp
    lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp
    vanilla
  • 2 tsp
    splenda

How To Make apple crunch

    In small saucepan, mix together the water, apple, lemon juice, 1/4 tsp cinnamon, and vanilla. Cook over medium heat for 2-5 min, or until apple is tender. Stir in 2 tsp Splenda. Place in small baking dish. In medium bowl, mix together dry milk, 1/4 tsp cinnamon, 4 tsp Splenda, cereal and butter or margarine. Place mix on top of apple mix, covering completely. Bake at 350 for 12-15 min, or until bubbly and hot.
