Ingredients

2 can(s) apple pie filling (regular or caramel apple)
1 box butter pecan cake mix
1/4 c brown sugar
1/4 c pecans
cinnamon to taste
2 stick butter

Directions

Spread both cans of apple pie filling in a 9 x 13 baking pan. Sprinkle cinnamon over filling to taste.

Spread cake mix evenly over the pie filling. Sprinkle with the brown sugar and pecans.

Cut butter into patties and cover the entire top of the cake mix. Bake in preheated 350ยบ oven for 50 minutes. Can top with ice cream.

Recipe does not say if you are to drain the pie filling cans or not so I hope I am assuming right you just pour the whole can in. Can anyone verify this before I make it please?!

You don't drain the pie filling. The pie filling I use is pretty thick, so it would not be possible to drain it.
