heavy cream
1/4 c
granulated sugar
1/2 Tbsp
vanilla extract
1/2 c
egg yolks

Step-By-Step

1Over a double boiler in a metal mixing bowl combine all ingredients and stir with a wire whip until thickened.
2Strain through a china cap and cool.
3serve with fresh berries and whip cream.
