custard bread pudding

I had left over unseasoned stuffing bread, so I tried making bread pudding for the first time. It turned out great and was easy.

Ingredients For custard bread pudding

  • 7 oz
    brownberry unseasoned stuffing/bread squares
  • 6
    eggs, beaten
  • 4 c
    milk
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • cinnamon/sugar for top

How To Make custard bread pudding

    In a large bowl beat eggs, add milk, sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla beat together (I mixed mine with a whisk). Add in bread squares and let set to soak for 15 minutes. Pour into a greased 9x9 pan, sprinkle cinnamon/sugar over the top (as much as you like)and bake at 350 degrees until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
