White Chocolate Cream Cheese Pie

This was made at the last minute, unexpected company called and said they were in town and wanted to see us , and that they were at a resturant eating and would be over after lunch, I told them not to eat dessert and that I would have dessert and coffee ready when they got here... the pie was a great success ....Shirley even asked for the recipe...enjoy..
PS we had a great visit too...with a promise to come visit them in Washington...

Ingredients

3 oz
pkg. instant white chocolate pudding mix, use dry
8 oz
pkg. cream cheese, room temperature
1 tsp
white vanilla
8 oz
container thawed whipped topping,divided
1/3 c
orange marmalade
1 c
cold milk, divided
1
chocolate cookie crust, 8-inch
1/4 c
pecan pieces

Step-By-Step

1Place chocolate cookie crust in freezer while making filling.
2Place the softened cream cheese (cut into pieces), in your large mixer bowl and beat until smooth, slowly add half of the milk..beat until smooth.
3Add the dry pudding mix,vanilla and remainder of milk to the mixture and beat until thick and smooth.
4Fold in half of the thawed whipped topping; stir by hand to blen in..
Remove crust from freezer and pour the filling mixture into the chocolate cookie crust. Spread out evenly.
5Carefully spread the marmalade over top of filling mixture.
6Top with remaining thawed topping , leaving center open to see orange marmalade...sprinkle with pecan pieces.
Place in freezer covered. When frozen let set about 10 minutes before serving.
7I used inverted pie crust lid from store bought crust.
