Ingredients

eggs, beaten
1/2 c
corn syrup, dark
1 c
sugar
1 tsp
vanilla
6 Tbsp
melted butter - lightly cooled
1 c
pecan pieces or halves

inch unbaked pie shell - not deep dish

1Prepare pie crust.

2Preheat oven to 350 degree F.

In a large bowl, beat eggs - to the eggs add the sugar, corn syrup, cooled butter and vanilla, beat until well combine - use a whisk. Stir in pecans

3Pour into your prepared pie shell.

4bake for 45 -55 minutes or until a knife inserted half way between outside and center comes out clean.

Halfway through baking, you may want to shield your crust with some foil, to keep it from getting too dark.

Cool on cooling rack. Enjoy alone, with ice cream or whipped cream.
