Preheat oven to 350. Have unbaked pie crust in pie plate ready for your filling to be added.
For filling, in a medium bowl stir together eggs, brown sugar, corn syrup, melted and cooled butter, vanilla & salt.
Gently stir in pecans and blend. Then pour mixture into prepared pie crust. Bake 30 minutes. Then loosely cover with aluminum foil, and bake until center is set about 20 to 25 minutes. Let cool completely on a wire rack.
