I MADE THIS MANY YEARS AGO...IF YOU LIKE PEANUT BUTTER AND CHOCOLATE, YOU'LL LOVE THIS. I'VE TWEAKED THIS USING INSTANT PUDDING MIXES INSTEAD OF THE COOKED VARIETY... YOUR CHOICE OF COURSE.

Ingredients For peanutty chocolate pie
- PIE CRUST:

1/4 cbutter, melted - [1/2 stick]

1 3/4 cfinely crushed graham crackers

1/3 cpeanut butter

3 Tbspsugar
- PIE FILLING:

2 pkginstant chocolate pudding, sugar free

3 cmilk, 2%

2 ccool whip, low fat

whipped cream, sweetened

1/3 cfinely chopped peanuts

1PREP TIME DOES NOT INCLUDE COOLING/CHILLING TIME.

2I ALSO DON'T LIKE THE ONE CATEGORY IT ALLOWS US TO CHOSE; THIS IS NOT STRICTLY DAIRY. [WE SHOULD HAVE MORE THAN ONE CHOICE]

3YOU'LL NEED A 9 INCH PIE PLATE.

4HEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES.

5PIE CRUST:

6MELT THE BUTTER IN SAUCEPAN; REMOVE FROM HEAT.

7WITH A FORK STIR IN THE GRAHAM CRACKER CRUMBS, PEANUT BUTTER AND SUGAR INTO THE BUTTER.

8SPOON MIXTURE INTO A PIE PLATE; PRESS EVENLY AND FIRMLY ONTO THE BOTTOM AND UP THE SIDES WITH A SPOON.

9BAKE FOR 10 MINUTES; COOL COMPLETELY.... [AFTER IT HAS COOLED A BIT, I LIKE TO REFRIGERATE IT BEFORE POURING THE PIE FILLING INTO IT].

10PIE FILLING:

11WHISK OR BEAT THE PUDDING MIXES WITH THE MILK UNTIL SET, ABOUT 2 MINUTES.

12POUR INTO COOLED CRUST AND REFRIGERATE.

13BEFORE SERVING, TOP WITH THE COOL WHIP OR WHIPPED CREAM.

14SPRINKLE TOP WITH THE FINELY CHOPPED PEANUTS.
