Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Using a mixer, cream together softened butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla, and blend together until fluffy, about 3 minutes.
Add cocoa, salt and flour. Mix until well combined scraping the side of the bowl to blend. Grease an 8 inch pie pan with Baker's Joy or cooking spray. Pour mixture into pie pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes until center is set and not jiggling.
Serve with a scoop of your favorite ice cream and drizzle some chocolate syrup over it, or whatever else you like. Enjoy.
