Blue Ribbon Recipe

Notes from the Test Kitchen:
Oh this will be a hit with anyone you prepare it for ... family, friends or church family. Chocolaty, peanut buttery, creamy goodness!

We made this in a 9 inch pan (since that's what the ingredients were for). You can easily prepare this in a 9x13 dish by doubling the recipe. And I would suggest doing that ... it is that good!

1 c
crushed chocolate cookies
1/3 c
1/2 stick
butter (melted)
8 oz
cream cheese (room temp)
1/3 c
8 oz
Cool Whip (room temp)
1/2 c
mini choc chips
1/2 c
creamy peanut butter

Step 1 Direction Photo

1Mix crushed cookies, sugar and melted butter together. Press cookie mixture into a 9in pie pan. Bake at 350 degrees for ten minutes. Set cookie crust in freezer to cool completely.

Step 2 Direction Photo

2Mix sugar and cream cheese together with mixer until smooth. Add peanut butter and mix together completely. Add Cool Whip and mix thoroughly with mixer. Add mini chocolate chips and fold together gently.

Step 3 Direction Photo

3Pile Cool Whip mixture into cooled pie crust and cover loosely and refrigerate for several hours until firm.
You can garnish with additional Whipped Cream if desired.
