I found this recipe in a stack of magazines and other recipes, torn out of an unknown magazine source. But I know why I saved it. The picture looks fabulous and I just know it is yummy. Can't wait to try it!

Ingredients

1 pkg
(8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1/3 c
sugar
1 c
sour cream
2 tsp
pure vanilla extract
1 pkg
(8 oz.) cool whip, thawed
1
chocolate crumb crust (8 inches)
1/4 c
baking cocoa
1 Tbsp
powdered sugar
1 can(s)
(21 oz.) cherry pie filling

Step-By-Step

1In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Beat in sour cream and vanilla, and then fold in Cool Whip.

2Spread half of the mixture evenly into the chocolate crumb crust.

3Fold the cocoa and powdered sugar gently into the remaining Cool Whip mixture; carefully spread over the cream cheese layer.

4Refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Cut into slices; top each slice with cherry pie filling.
