This recipe came from my mother. It's been in our family since I was a child. It is served every year at Christmas and Thanksgiving. It is moist and so GOOD!

lb box brown sugar

cups self rising flour

tsp vanilla extract

cup chopped pecans or walnuts

stick of butter or margarine

Directions Step-By-Step

Beat eggs, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and butter until creamy. Slowly add the flour until all is incorporated. (Batter will be thick) add the cup of chopped pecans. Pour into a greased 13 x 9 pan. Bake for 35 minutes at 350 degrees.
