Ingredients

1 1/2 c
all purpose flour
1/2 tsp
baking soda
1 tsp
baking powder
1/2 c
sugar
1 large
egg
1/3 c
buttermilk
6 Tbsp
butter,soft
1 tsp
sugar
1 c
fresh or frozen cranberries,chopped
1 tsp
vanilla extract strudel:
1/2 c
all purpose flour
4 Tbsp
butter,cold
3 Tbsp
sugar
1/4 tsp
cinnamon

Step-By-Step

1Mix flour,baking soda, and baking powder.

2Beat butter and sugar until fluffy.

3In a separate bowl, mix buttermilk, egg, and vanilla.

4Alternativly add to butter mixture dry ingredients and buttermilk mixture.Slowly add cranberries.

5Drop spoonfuls on a greased cookie sheet. Sprinkle with strudel.

6Bake in 350 F for 20 -25 minutes or until it has lightly browned edges.Let cool for 5 minutes before removing from cookie sheet. You can also glaze them with orange or lemon glaze.Using 1 cup powdered sugar and 2 tablespoons orange or lemon juice.
