1/2 csoftened, butter

1/2 clight brown sugar, packed

1 cflour

2eggs

1 cpacked, brown sugar

1 tspvanilla

1/4 tspsalt

3 Tbspflour

1 tspbaking powder
-
3 1/2 ozsweetened coconut

1 cchopped, nuts
How To Make ~ coconut bars ~

1Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Cream butter with sugar, in a small bowl. Work in flour, thoroughly combining. Pat evenly into the bottom of a 9 x 13 ungreased baking pan. Bake for 10 - 12 minutes or until golden. Set aside to cool.

2In a medium bowl, beat eggs until light colored. Beat in brown sugar.

3Beat in vanilla, baking powder, flour and salt. Fold in the coconut and nuts.

4Spread evenly over the cooled crust and bake for20 - 25 minutes or until firm to the touch.

5Let cool and cut into squares.
