I do know that "Frosty" is the brand name from Wendy's. I have tried every copy cat recipe there is and was not happy w/ the taste and consistency. I started this one and there was no comparison. Frozen whipped topping for some lightness and air, sweetened condensed milk for creaminess, chocolate milk for flavor, all combined in an ice cream maker for that perfect, eat-it-with-a-spoon consistency! NOTE: total time including prep and freezing= 30-45 minutes

Ingredients For my favorite chocolate frosty

  • 3/4 c
    cool whip or other frozen topping, thawed
  • 1/2 can
    (14 ounce) sweeetened condensed milk (about 7 ounces)
  • c
    up to 6 cups-(depends on size of freezer bowl for ice cream maker) of chocolate milk

How To Make my favorite chocolate frosty

    Add whipped topping and condensed milk to freezer bowl. Mix to combine. Pour in chocolate milk up to fill line in ice cream maker. Stir ingredients well.

    Turn on ice cream maker and freeze 20-35 minutes or until it reaches that perfect frosty consistency! Eat immediately with cold metal spoon for the full frosty experience.
