Every time I think of ice cream made in an ice cream churn, I think of 4th of July :-) I also remember my father and uncle sitting on MaMa's porch churning ice cream with a hand crank churn, glad it wasn't me! I love modern technology!!

Ice-Cream Maker

Ingredients

1 1/2 c
sugar
3
eggs
1 Tbsp
vanilla
1 can(s)
evaporated milk
whole milk or half and half to add to fill line
rock salt
bag of ice
1 c
fruit of choice (optional)-chopped

Directions Step-By-Step

Cream the sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add the evaporated milk. Mix well. Pour into ice cream churn. Add Milk to fill line.
Churn the ice cream .

*****Note--if adding fruit of choice, increase sugar to 2 cups and blend fruit into the mixture before pouring into ice cream churn. Then add milk to fill line*** I myself love some peach ice cream :-) It is so refreshing!!
