  • YOU WILL NEED ENOUGH PIZZA DOUGH FOR ONE LARGE 12IN PIZZA PIE, WITH 1/4 IN OVERLAPPING THE EDGES.

    amount of pizza dough,, or two cans of ready pizza dough
  • 2 can
    cherry pie filling
  • 1 md
    jar of unsweetened apple sauce
  • 1/4 c
    light brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 tsp
    apple pie spice
  • 1/4 c
    white sugar
  • STUFFING FOR YOUR CRUST
  • 2 lg
    blocks of philly cream cheese
  • 1/4 c
    sugar
  • 1 lg
    egg beaten
  • 1/2 tsp
    lemon juice
  • 1 can
    sweetened condensed milk

    PRE-HEAT OVEN TO 400, AND PLACE RACK ON CENTER OF THE OVEN TO INSURE GOOD EVEN BAKING. YOU WILL BAKE FOR 20 MIN OR TILL CRUST IS A NICE GOLDEN BROWN

    BAKE SPRAY A LARGE 12IN PIZZA PAN OR TWO SMALLER PANS. AND SET ASIDE.

    IN A LARGE BOWL, AND WITH A ELECTRIC BLENDER ON MEDIUM SPEED, MIX TOGETHER YOUR CREAM CHEESE AND YOUR SUGAR AND EGG, SLOWLY BEAT IN YOUR SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK AND FINALLY YOUR LEMON JUICE. THIS SHOULD BE A THICK AND AIRY CHEESE CAKE BATTER. IF TOO LIQUIDY YOU CAN ADD ANOTHER BLOCK OF CREAM CHEESE.

    IN A LARGE BOWL MIX YOUR APPLESAUCE AND YOUR SUGARS AND SPICES. MIX THEM WELL FOR NO CLUMPS PLEASE

    IN A SMALL BOWL COVERED WITH A SIEVE EMPTY YOUR PIE FILLING . YOU WANT TO DRAIN MOST OF THE SAUCE OUT AWAY FROM YOUR CHERRIES. BUT DON'T THROW AWAY THE SAUCE.

    NOW SPREAD YOUR PIZZA DOUGH ON YOUR PAN INSURING YOU ARE GOING ALL THE WAY TO THE EDGES. YOU WANT TO HAVE YOUR DOUGH HANGING OVER THE EDGES.

    NOW RUNNING THE RIDGE OF THE PAN, PLACE A SMALL AMOUNT OF YOUR CREAM CHEESE FILLING. NOW AS YOU GO ALONG COVER WITH THE OVERLAPPING PIZZA CRUST, MAKE SURE YOU SEAL THE ENDS WELL AS TO NOT LET THE CHEESE OOZE OUT WHILE BAKING.

    NOW ONCE THIS IS DONE, AND YOU HAVE MIXED YOUR APPLESAUCE SAUCE, YOU WILL TAKE A LADLE AND SPREAD YOUR SAUCE MIXTURE AROUND THE AND OUT TO THE EDGES, DON'T PUT TOO MUCH SAUCE, JUST ENOUGH TO COVER FROM CENTER TO THE EDGES.

    TOP WITH DRAINED CHERRIES MAKING SURE TO SPREAD THEM EVENLY SO EACH AND EVERY SLICE WILL HAVE SOME CHERRIES ON TOP.

    NOW REMEMBER THAT PIE FILLING YOU DRAINED AWAY, BUT KEPT. TAKE SMALL SPOON FULLS AND DRIZZLE OVER THE CHERRIES AND APPLE SAUCE. NOT TOO MUCH JUST A LITTLE.

    IN ANOTHER SMALL BOWL, MIX ONE EGG AND 1 TABLESPOON WHITE SUGAR, BRUSH ONTO THE STUFFED PORTION OF THE PIZZA CRUST.
