Simmered apple crisp w/ granola

This is a great start to breakfast or a quick, healthy dessert.

Ingredients

1 lb
cooking apples, cut into 1/2" slices
1/4 c
diet cranberry juice
1 tsp
lemon peel
1/4 tsp
ground allspice
1 c
low-fat grano
1/4 c
chopped pecans
1/4 c
fat-free caramel sauce

Step-By-Step

1In lg skillet, combine apples, cranberry juice and lemon peel. Cook, stirring, over med-high heat 8 mins.
2Sprinkle w/ allspice. Spoon mix into dessert bowls. Sprinkle w/ granola and pecans. Drizzle w/ caramel sauce and serve.
